P.S Just in case you were wondering, I'm a big bag lover. In other words, I like my clutter...
Sugar Delight – sweep me off my feet bag lover
This girl wants to be swept off her feet and surrounded by sugary pastels and matching separates. A sentimental dreamer, the optimist, she is drawn to fashion that brings out the little girl in all of us, yet knows she is a sensual woman. She knows how much leg to show, and applies her barely-there English Rose make-up while nibbling on pastel coloured macaroons. By day, she loves a pretty tote finished with a bow, and by night a dreamy clutch finished with a touch of lace and a trace of diamante. She will always choose pink above practical for every occasion.

Little Miss Label - the fashion envy of her friends
She is the style-savvy envy of all her friends. She gets her wardrobe fix direct from the catwalk. She’s not interested in high-street, nor is she interested in fast fashion - She will be on the invite list to the latest fashion show in town and will know what labels are loved by discerning celebrities and media personalities alike. With her beauty therapist on speed dial, she needs to get to her phone and credit card with ease. The bigger the bag, the better. But, like her wardrobe, her bag will also be arranged to take her from day to night.

Eco Glamazon - the sexy prints never looked better
She is the globetrotter with a responsible attitude, and she knows how to mix her prints. She’s on a savannah-inspired journey through life, not afraid to ask questions. She returns from her travels with tribal textiles, crafty details, raffia, and beads. She wears sexy bohemian prints with minimal accessories such as stacked bracelets from a Moroccan market teamed with a beaded oversized pouch for a mid-week lunch with a client. In the evening she dazzles with an Aztec influenced beaded clutch. She chooses to meet in a cocktail bar, and will always ask for a cocktail recommendation - something fresh and with mint are her only preferences.

Glamourpuss – the femme fatale - Loves to make an entrance
She flirts with soft fabrics and lace, and she loves nothing more than making an entrance in vivid sparkles and killer heels. She’s the sort of woman who wouldn’t leave the house without her signature perfume, and loves to dress in timeless pieces that she knows she looks amazing in. Her handbag is as elegant as her, and she loves it to show off her personality, be it with a glitter of diamantes, snakeskin, or her trusty standby – the patent black tote. Although both intriguing and intimidating, her Film-Noir shades are understated drama. With a sharp pencil skirt and a pout to match, her bag is neat and carried with ease and she tends to stick to what she knows rather than experiment with brands and trends.
Bag inspiration: Victoria Beckham, Jimmy Choo, Alexander McQueen, Chanel.
The trendsetter - Always in the know
She works hard to perfect her appearance and style. She lets her clothes and accessories do the talking and likes it when someone asks her "where did you get that"? She has a strong, inspiring personality, and she craves change, and is willing to try anything new. Her wardrobe is full of statement on-trend pieces, laced with fur, leather and exotic colours that she delights in showing off to her friends and colleagues. Her handbags are just as eye-catching and she has an enormous collection of designer entwined with high-street brands. In every inside pocket she will find a bright lipstick and a designer purse. Secretly insecure, her look is very premeditated, not that she’d ever let you know it.

Big Bag Lover - Everything needs to be handy
She is known to pack everything but the kitchen sink just to go to the supermarket. She is a realist and is prepared for every eventuality. From old receipts, to leaflets she’s picked up throughout her day, her friends call her a hoarder, but she refers to herself a sentimentalist. She is that person who is able to tell you interesting facts, and knows where to source unique gifts for friends and loved ones. She carries her phone, keys, cosmetics and beauty products to sweets, snacks, medications, shoes, gym kit and magazines. Not to mention an Ipod, Blackberry, camera or notebook. She wants to have everything handy, not just for herself, but for others too. She loves to meet friends after work and will always look fresh because there will always be a lip gloss, perfume and hairspray to hand.

Boardroom perfectionist - sharp-witted, cool and professional
She listens with every inch of her body. Sharp-witted, she knows how to stay cool, professional and fashionable, and has raced miles ahead of her male colleagues. Her bags are as structured and powerful as she is, and she opts for streamlined shapes in classic colours that will allow room for her iPad, Blackberry and all the work she takes home from the office. She chooses her wardrobe carefully so she can take any outfit from the office to the champagne bar. Neat and petite, she chooses to sit at the bar, flashing her eyes over the champagne menu, but will always order Veuve Clicquot. Like her handbag, the brand says it all.
Bag inspiration: Michael Kors, Yves St Laurent, Marc Jacobs, Hermes, Chanel, Knomo, Zagliani, Aspinal of London.
Vintage Queen - Fashion Era Thrill-seeker
She is dedicated to finding that genuine piece of vintage and knows her labels well. Her wardrobe is forever expanding with her unusual finds – worn-in leather jackets, and printed blouses, and her accessories, especially broaches are as equally charming and unique. She takes fashion inspiration from classic books and black and white films, and has probably named her cat Audrey or Coco. She loves to change her handbag, and will experiment rather than sticking with one style. She is happiest mooching at the Sunday markets, and squeals with excitement at the next purchase of a vintage cake plate or china tea cup. By day, she carries her copy of To Kill A Mockingbird, scribbling notes of inspiration with her nibbed pen. By night, she dons her Dita Von Teese-inspired look teamed with a Lanvin clutch, and accentuated eyes to match.
Bag inspiration: Chanel, Lanvin, Gucci, Hermes, Valextra, Burberry.
Chic Yummy mummy - Being mum has never been sexier
She knows her bag has to be functional, but she can’t help making sure it oozes style. Her bag screams, I love my baby but I also love being sexy, and I want to reclaim my pre-baby style and confidence. She can leave the house without a scrap of makeup, but will always double back if she’s forgotten to put a gorgeous clip in her hair. She is busy, and life is now somewhat different to her hedonistic Ibiza days yet she will find time to look after herself and glow with a delicious smile inspired by her baby. She won’t necessarily buy a typical baby bag, opting instead for an oversized leather tote with a durable strap or a cross-body for a quick dash between the creche and her morning pilates class.
Bag inspiration: Mulberry, Marc by Marc Jacobs, See by Chloe, Stella McCartney, Chloe, Anya Hindmarch, Moncler, Freitag Reference.
Confident classique - Minimalist style with maximalist impact
She is the well-dressed elegant bag lover. The girl about town minimalist who will wear the Parisian style Breton stripe top and classic trench, she even wears simple knits with effortless ease. She loves structured shapes in basic colours which she knows will effortlessly work whether she’s wearing a suit, or her favourite little black dress. She prefers to shun trends for timeless pieces, and therefore always fashionable desirable. She is calm, confident with a strong focus on her career - This confident approach means she gets what she wants whatever the cost. She carries her bag from day to night, choosing to share a bottle of Pinot Grigio over a good gossip and a giggle with a friend.

Miss Practical - the sunday girl mooching through life
She loves her neutrals. She can dress them up or down, as a neutral goes with anything. She’s not fussed by anything too elaborate, and prefers her bags to be be the same. Sometimes her relaxed ways makes her clutter up her bag with extensions of her life - from food wrappers, to shopping lists - but she loves rummaging through and doing a clear-out at the end of a week. She starts afresh with all good intentions, but soon falls into her old habits. Her overall look is slightly more thrown together yet, she carries a casual-chic air about her, which screams - life is good!

Sporty - Luxe - A fuss-free modern silhouette
Sleek grooming and a monochrome palette, particularly fitting for this year of the London Olympics. Not afraid to add a zip, mesh, contrasting colours or a flash of neon, she sports a slicked back ponytail and a chrome watch, that work both day and evening. She opts for clean cut shapes, shades of cool metallics and shimmery fabrics which are effortlessly functional every day of the week. By day, she wears luxe jersey, and by night figure hugging wetsuit-like silhouettes. Her bag is clean and structured, sophisticated and big enough to carry a bottle of water wherever she goes.
