Most of you will already know just how much we love Pai Skincare. While we are lucky enough to test many gorgeous brands, Pai are one of the few that I always, always include in my daily routine - and I regularly buy their products as gifts for my friends.
Anyway, I don't know about you, but I often struggle to get my skin in tip top shape for summer. I like being able to ditch the foundation and embrace the glowing, natural look, but it's impossible to do unless your skin is prepped and primed to perfection.

tips for getting sensitive skin in shape for Summer
"If there’s one time of year you don’t want to be lacking in
skin confidence, it’s Summer.
But with high temperatures raising redness, and irritants
galore in sun creams and tanning products – summer months aren’t always so rosy
for us sensitive skin sufferers!
Here are my top tips for gently getting your glow on this
summer.
1. Stay at your
freshest
Every month
our body produces a whole new layer of skin. If we don’t remove the outer
layer, dead cells can build up on the surface and leave skin looking dull, grey
and lifeless.
Remove them regularly by using an exfoliator, such as our new Kukui
& Jojoba Bead Skin Brightening Exfoliator, two to three times a week. The perfectly cylindrical wax beads roll over skin rather
than scratching its surface, making it perfect for sensitive types.
2. Fatten Up
I talk about them all the time but Essential Fatty Acids
really are my skin secret weapon!
They’re the building blocks of healthy skin, and a good
Essential Fatty Acid supplement keeps your complexion smooth, supple and
beautifully conditioned – exactly what you need when you’re bearing a little
more than usual!
My weapon of choice is Hemp oil, refrigerated and taken off
the spoon.
3. Bare all
Heavy make-up in hot temperatures really isn’t great for the
skin.
Heat opens the pores, allowing a mixture of sweat and
make-up to sink down and clog them up, and we all know that blocked pores equal
spots.
Get that summer glow without the bronzer by treating your

4. Maintain Moisture
Hydrated skin is radiant skin.
Increase your summer shine from the inside out by drinking
plenty of water and keeping your skin well moisturised, especially if you’ve
been out in the sun.
Too much sun can dry and distress the skin. Restore it back
to full health by moisturising regularly with an ultra intensive moisturiser
and body cream.
5. Travel Tonics
While the UK may be the place to be this summer, many of us
will still be jetting off to warmer climates.
Plane air is notoriously bad for the skin, with humidity as low
as 10-20% (compared to an average of 80% in the UK) leaving it dry, tight and a
little lacklustre.
