Flower Power For Your Wedding

If you are anything like me, when you go to the florist to enquire about your wedding flowers you don't know your anemone from your gerbera. You will simply point to flowers and say "I like those!" Suddenly, you should really have paid more attention to all the mumbo jumbo latin your Mum gives when discussing flowers.

Due to my lack of flower knowledge, I sat and sifted through many wedding magazines like something out of Blue Peter, with my scissors at the ready to cut out any floral idea which caught my eye. I happily sat with my Pritt-stick putting together a floral mood board which soon spread onto more than one board (I got a little scissor happy). All of my cutting and sticking really paid off though because I just handed it to my florist who then understood exactly the look I was aiming for without me having to try and learn how to pronounce ranunculus.

I have compiled a few floral inspiration boards courtesy of Style Me Pretty website for you including bouquets, centrepieces and buttonholes; so if you like any of them just print it off and add it to your mood board.
