What Do You Wear When Doing the Housework?

Me, I normally wear a pair of comfy bottoms paired with one of my husband's t-shirts whilst I sweat it out mopping the floors, scrubbing the bathroom and cleaning the windows. Honestly, if anyone comes to the house I will not answer the door because basically I look an utter state.

Now, if I had one of these sexy Rosie Ann aprons (priced £14-£22) then I think I would have to change my whole domestic style. Firstly, a red lipstick would be compulsory along with a cute dress and dare I say it, but maybe a pair of heels. You know, when the kids are not around and husband is on his way home from work…..you get the picture.

Do you ever wear an apron? Because I think we need to make it a must-have for our attire when at home. Lets champion this vintage pinafore and rock it in the 21st century! I'm not talking imitating a Stepford wife or impersonating Bree Van Der Kamp, I'm talking lets bring some sexy back to doing the domestic chores.

But do you know what I think is going to be the real benefit of purchasing one of these aprons? Your house will be immaculate and you will be in the kitchen baking cakes everyday just so you have a justified reason for constantly wearing such prettiness.

So, if you are wanting to bring some sassiness to your slobby housework attire then pop over to Etsy and take a look through even more of the gorgeous aprons Rosie Ann makes. Some have ruffles, some have bows and some are just so downright charming. Oh, and by the way, she also sells dresses too!
