Once again, the high street has launched some MEGA sales this week - I've splashed out in Warehouse on lots of chunky, loose knits to wear come Autumn. Isn't that depressing? I'm thinking about Autumn already!
Anyway, there are still some bits and bobs landing in the stores, so don't fret if you hate the sales. My tips? Snap up some embellished or sequinned pieces (think flapper-style, the Great Gatsby) - that trend is going to be huge this A/W, trust me.

Zara
I keep waiting for an email to drop into my inbox to tell me Zara's sale has started...so far, no joy. But they're continuing to churn out some stunning pieces, tapping into my obsession for all things white. I love the sequin shorts too - a fab, modern take on the '20s trend!
Topshop
This sequin shirt is the perfect piece to take you through to next season - just team it with capris and flats now, then add a blazer or jacket come Autumn et voila!
ASOS
I am in LOVE with this sunflower yellow lace top from French Connection. It put a smile on my face as soon as I saw it! If I weren't pregnant, I'd rock it with either white jeans or a white blazer.
Warehouse
This contrast tux is a brilliant classic piece that would see you through numerous wardrobe dilemmas. Think Kate Moss in her YSL tux - doesn't everyone want to rock a look like that?
H+M
I am loving these earrings, and what a bargain they are too - less than a fiver! The neon and black sandals are also great, if only the sun would come out again...will it ever?
Urban Outfitters
Urban Outfitters is the ideal destination for quirky, festival-worthy fashion. This print ruffle dress would look great dressed down with flats and a straw trilby, or warm it up with a leather biker.
