Stylish Beach Wear

Source
We all want to look our best on the beach. From getting our bodies into tip top shape, our hair to have that perfect "just-stepped out of the sea" wave and our make-up bronzed and glowing, it's probably one of the most stressful scenarios for any woman alive.

Me, I always aim for an Ursula Andress moment...who wouldn't want to look like that on the beach? Sadly, I always fail because, let's face it, who looks like that?! I also get so stressed out trying on bikinis that I just grab the first one I see and leg it for the checkout.

This year, I'll be ditching the beach and my swimsuit for a maternity maxi and cup of tea. But I know that there are plenty of you out there who are jetting off to sunnier climes, making me green with envy!

To save you the shopping stress, I've dug out some of the best swimsuits, bikinis and cover-ups out there...now all you need is sun cream, a Pina Colada and a trashy book and you're ready to rock.

Super Glamorous Swimsuits

I love the retro-look of some of these swimsuits - I can just imagine Marilyn Monroe lounging about in the Ted Baker floral one! I also have a deep love for the flamingo print one from...wait for it...M+S!

But if I had all the money in the world, I would definitely be snapping up the YSL anchor swimsuit. Ahoy there, sailor!

Printed Bikinis

You can't go wrong with a printed swimsuit, and the high street (and designer labels!) have really come up trumps this season. I love Ted Baker's neon flamingo print bikini (are you sensing a theme here?) and Accessorize's pineapple retro-style bikini. But I am completely head over heels in love with Mara Hoffman's designs...beautiful!

Classic Doesn't Have to be Boring

With these beauties, who says that rocking a plain colour swimsuit or bikini has to be boring? I LOVE the white zip detailed bandeau set from H+M, and the Lanvin one would go down a treat too...(if only!)

Stylish Beach Cover-Ups

I HATE seeing holidaymakers wandering around restaurants in just their bikinis - call me prudish, but it looks tacky and disrespectful. Invest in some of these stylish cover-ups to take you from beach to bar. If only I could afford to waft about in DVF kaftans and Missoni prints...
