Little Black Book - RE's Re-Found Objects

I first discovered the amazing RE through their fabulous pop-up shops at Liberty in London. It's full of recycled, re-found objects (hence the name RE!) and products made locally and is THE best place to go to if you want to peruse jelly mould lights, skeleton bone china plates and tattoo brandy glasses.

It was launched in a small market town (Corbridge, if you're interested!) in 2003 by Simon Young and Jenny Vaughan, who had both become disenchanted with their careers in fashion design. They wanted to set up a shop where you could buy anything from a "plaster Virgin Mary and a bottle of the best bubble bath in the world."

Anyway, I think they've done just that! The bits and pieces found on the website are all beautifully random and eclectic and would add an interesting quirk to pretty much any home. I could quite easily bankrupt myself on here (I think I say that a little too often...I may have a problem) but, for now, I'll stick to the lampshades, the skull salt and pepper shakers and the British Isles biscuit cutters.

Enjoy!
